Temptation Strawberry

This British variety bears medium-large berries in abundance. This compact plant will produce berries in the first year. Fruit is much larger than the alpine varieties. These tidy plants are perfect in beds and containers; they do not readily set runners and remain tame, not prone to taking over the garden. Berries are more firm than alpine varieties; the flavor however, is better than many other large, commercial varieties.

$15, 2 year old plant in hanging basket.
